About Me
Hi, I am a research scholar (PMRF) in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology, Patna, India. I am fortunate to be advised by Dr. Sriparna Saha and Prof. Pushpak Bhattacharyya. I am a part of the AI-ML-NLP group at Indian Institute of Technology, Patna. Before joining IIT Patna, I completed B.tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Government College of Engineering and Textile Technology, Berhampore in 2019.
I broadly work in the area of Natural Language Processing (NLP), Artificial Intelligence and Reinforcement Learning. More specifically, my curent research focuses on Dialogue System, Clinical NLP and AI for Social Good. I consider myself a dedicated researcher and innovator, driven to delve into critical aspects of AI and contribute to challenging real-world problems by translating the findings/insights into practical innovations.

- 21st March 2024 Completed PhD Synopsis, and submitted PhD Thesis
- Achieved runner-up position 🥈 in on-campus, IIT Patna Hult Prize event 2024 for Clinical AI Assistance project
- Secured 3rd position in Engineer's conclave (Patent: System and Method for Automated Disease Diagnosis) among 20 IITs at IIT Madras and won 🥉 bronze medal in Inter IIT 12.0 (2023)
- Our two research papers “Yes, this is what I was looking for! Towards Multi-modal Medical Consultation Concern Summary Generation” and "An EcoSage Assistant: Towards Building A Multimodal Plant Care Dialogue Assistant" have got accepted in 46th European Conference on Information Retrieval (ECIR) 2023
- Our symptom investigation and diagnosis assistant project has been selected (One of the ten outstanding projects chosen from the state of Bihar) for presentation at the Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI) 2023.
- Our two research papers “Experience and Evidence are the eyes of an excellent summarizer! Towards Knowledge Infused Multi-modal Clinical Conversation Summarization” and "Diving into a Sea of Opinions: Multi-modal Abstractive Summarization with Comment Sensitivity" have got accepted in 32nd ACM International Conference on Information and Knowledge Management (CIKM 2023)
